Kate Spade New York

Kate Spade New York
Kate Spade is one of my favorite accessories designer. She puts a colorful spin on classic bags, shoes, and even jewelry. Color, bows, and fun patterns are her signature. She worked for Mademoiselle as head of accessories and realized that there were very few cute and functional handbags on the market. Deciding to take things into her own hands, she began design her own. This is how her company Kate Spade New York was created. The company has grown and now sells handbags, shoes, jewelry, phone accessories, clothes, and perfume. I was able to visit the store in Palm Springs and I loved it! This season, their main design is lemons like these Keds. Recently, Kate Spade New York has paired with Keds and the designs couldn’t be cuter! Her lovely designs can be found at Nordstrom, Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and of course at her own stores.

Spring Dresses

Spring Dresses
It’s so crazy that Easter is just a week away! No matter how you celebrate Easter, it’s important to look your best. Pastels, flowers, and light fabrics are classic Spring essentials. If you aren’t overly fond of pastel colors, try chambray with delicate flower embroidery. You could also go with a bold gingham pattern in a jeweled tone. Try to keep it colorful and happy. Rock a flower crown in your hair or some sweet oxfords. I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter!

Black and White

Black and White
Another post about Midi Skirts! Black and White is so simple and classy. It will never go out of style and it’s an easy pallet to find. This outfit is very feminine and slightly vintage. It’s also very modern at the same time. It has crisp, clean lines that scream class and sophistication. Black gingham and a crisp white top with delicate embroidery is interesting and unexpected. Dainty heels add to the femininity. Keep accessories black and use vintage inspired hair and makeup.
Midi Skirt
I decided to try some new things on the blog so here is one of them. I’m going to post about some of the trends I’ve been seeing lately; let me know what you guys think! I always appreciate feedback! The midi skirt (or tea length) is all over Pinterest lately. These skirts usually hit somewhere around the mid-calf to ankle area. I’ve seen them in bright neons, shiny sequins, tulle, and prints. Like these lovely ladies are sporting, they can be paired with feminine heels, slouchy sweatshirts, leather jackets, and everything in between.

Pop of Orange

Pop of Orange
Its been a while since I’ve posted and I decided to make a few changes to the blog; I hope you like them! Spring is finally here! I am so happy because this means we are closer to summer break! This semester has been very exhausting, so here’s an outfit that is sure to perk you up! Black and white pairings are everywhere this Spring. Nordstrom has made it their main style this season. I love color so adding pops of bright orange like these Keds or this scarf brighten up the look. I hope you all have a lovely Spring and that you hang in there til summer!

Blue and White

Blue and White
This outfit is chic and cool; it’s perfect for summer. Mixing white with colors like navy and black is trending this season. Bold patterns are also very popular. This mini skirt is super chic and can work in a lot of outfits. Pair it with a tee and sneakers for a casual look or for a chic style pair it with a white tank and some strapped heels. A great camel tote carries everything you might need. A pair of fabulous sunnies and a white watch complete the look.

Lion King

Lion King
This outfit would be perfect for a day spent at Disneyland. Forever21 has a line of Disney sweaters that are super adorable! I love the Lion King one. Cuffed, distressed shorts keep it casual and some oatmeal Vans are great for walking around the Magical Kingdoms. Hakuna Matata means no worries as the Lion King taught us as children. Wear it on your wrist as a reminder with this cute bracelet. A tribal phone case completes the look and now you are ready to live your Disney dreams.
